Refund Policy
At Gitte Schumacher, we are committed to providing high-quality coaching, retreats, and speaking services. We understand that circumstances can change, and we strive to be fair in our refund policy while ensuring the sustainability of our offerings. Please review the following terms for refunds on coaching services, retreats, and speaking engagements.
Coaching Services

Cancellations: If you need to cancel a coaching session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Sessions canceled within this time frame can be rescheduled at no extra cost.

Refunds: Refunds for coaching services are not typically offered. However, if you are unsatisfied with the initial session, you may request a refund for that session only. After the first session, no refunds will be provided for completed coaching sessions.

Rescheduling: If a coaching session needs to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will accommodate a new time as best as possible, provided the request is made at least 48 hours in advance.
Retreats

Deposits: A €1,000 deposit is required to secure your spot for any retreat. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations:

Cancellations made 60 days or more before the retreat will receive a 50% refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit.

Cancellations made between 30-59 days before the retreat will receive a 25% refund, excluding the deposit.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat.

Transfer of Spot: If you are unable to attend the retreat, you may transfer your spot to someone else, provided you notify us in advance and the new attendee meets the retreat’s requirements.

Retreat Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the retreat, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit. However, we are not responsible for any additional costs such as airfare or travel expenses.
Speaking Engagements

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to confirm Gitte Schumacher’s availability for speaking engagements. The balance must be paid 7 days before the event.

Cancellations by Client:

If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the deposit.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.

Cancellations by Gitte Schumacher: If Gitte needs to cancel a speaking engagement due to an emergency, we will issue a full refund of any payments made or offer to reschedule the event at no additional cost.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact us at [insert email] with your booking details and reason for cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving your request, and funds will be credited to the original payment method.
Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for:

Missed or unattended coaching sessions without prior notice.

Partial attendance of retreats or events.
